Matthew Harvey founded Edge Drone Services in 2017 to deliver accurate aerial data and scalable drone solutions for construction, development, environmental, and media projects. He has grown the company into a nationwide provider supporting clients across the Southeast and throughout the United States.
Prior to leading Edge Drone Services full time, Matthew worked within a Fortune 200 energy company where he helped stand up and expand drone operations for inspections, asset monitoring, and data collection at scale. A key focus of his role was developing and supporting remote drone operations, enabling teams to safely collect data across wide geographic areas while improving efficiency and reducing field deployment requirements.
He brings this enterprise level and remote operations experience to Edge Drone Services, emphasizing scalable workflows, high accuracy mapping, environmental monitoring, and consistent data collection. Matthew has led hundreds of drone missions and specializes in remote and distributed drone deployments that allow clients to monitor projects efficiently across multiple locations.
His focus remains on delivering reliable data, streamlined operations, and nationwide deployment capabilities for projects of any size.
Mitch has been with the company since April of 2024.
Mitch graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in History, specializing in Research and Development. Mitch has a background in aviation and comes from three generations of pilots.
Mitch is certified in both Part 107 and FSESCI (The Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector Program).
